Seabright Cottage is located just off the A2 coastal route between Bangor and Donaghadee in County Down, Northern Ireland.
From Belfast:
Take the A2 road to Bangor, which is a natural continuation of the M2 to M3. You will pass the 'George Best Belfast City Airport' after about 1 mile on this road. Continue through a large multi-road junction, keeping to the left.
Continue past Holywood and 11 miles to Bangor.
As you approach Bangor town - on the dual carriageway - you will see a pair of speed restriction signs for 40mph. Immediately after these, take the slip-road up to the flyover and turn right to cross over the dual carriageway you have just left.
The flyover is part of Bangor ring road. Continue on this road straight through several roundabouts until you get to the fifth one, which is clearly marked 'Groomsport Road'. This is the end of the ring road and you should take the third exit from this roundabout, towards Donaghadee and Millisle.
Travel for about 2.2 miles until you see a sign for Orlock to your left. You'll recognise it on approach because it has several houses on a hill, one of which was the old coastguard station and has a navigation mast with a red light on the top.
Turn left into this road and take the second road on your left, Coastguard Lane. Seabright Cottage is the third house on the right, about 100 yards along.
From Bangor:
Wherever you are in Bangor, you need to get on the ring road. From the seafront, follow the High Street, an uphill, one way street, through a mini roundabout and straight out the Donaghadee Road for just over a mile. At the dual carriageway roundabout, turn left towards Groomsport and travel about a mile to the Groomsport Road roundabout, which is the end of the ring road, where it joins the A2.
Take the third exit from this roundabout, signposted Donaghadee A2, and travel for about 2.2 miles until you see a sign for Orlock to your left. You'll recognise it on approach because it has several houses on a hill, one of which is the old coastguard station and has a navigation mast with a red light on the top.
Turn left into this road and take the second road on your left, Coastguard Lane. Seabright Cottage is the third house on the right, about 100 yards along.
